Today the first group continued by sharing the merits and demerits of questioning strategy. There are many merits and demerits but to me the most important are the following
Some of the merits are,
- helps in problem solving and develops problem solving skills
- stimulate cognitive thinking
- long term retention
- enhance active participation
- it is student centered learning
And the demerits are,
- time consuming
- minimumcontent coverage
- brighter students may participate
Though todays class was short, the presenter ended the class by dividing us into three groups and making us to prepare lesson plan using the three types of questioning strategy
